Honor and Memorial Donations:    You may also make a donation in honor of a specified person.  That person will be sent an acknowledgement of your special gift.  Likewise, an acknowledgement of a gift in memorial will be sent to someone you designate.  Please provide contact information for whom you are donating in the Gift Notification Information box. 

Corporate Matching Gift:    The WHF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, falls within the guidelines of most companies that match charitable contributions by their employees to health and human service charities, or to disaster relief groups. Contact your employer, and simply fill out the employee portion of your employer's matching gift application, and forward it to the WHF at the above address.

Gifts of Securities:    A gift of securities can make a world of difference in your personal charitable and estate planning. Since many securities have appreciated in value since their purchase, they make an attractive gift under the current tax laws.  The WHF welcomes donations of securities.  (Please note that such gifts should only be made after consultation with your financial advisor.)

How to Transfer Stock to World Help Foundation:
To transfer stock to the WHF, please call 203-364 9293 with the following information:

•    Name

•    Address

•    Name of Broker

•    Name and number of Securities

Option 1: Electronic Transfer
Your broker may transfer securities electronically into the World Help Foundation account at UBS Paine Webber, if the securities are currently held in a brokerage account. Securities can be transferred by instructing your broker to contact the WHF at 203-426-0433 to obtain transfer instructions.

Option 2: Physical Transfer
You can forward your stock certificate(s) directly to the WHF. Each stock certificate requires a stock power form. The stock powers should be signed and the signature guaranteed by your local bank or broker.

Mail the stock powers, along with a letter indicating your intent to a make a gift, to the address below. Under separate cover,  please send the stock certificate(s) to the same address. For additional protection, we recommend that you send the certificate(s) via registered mail.

Corporate contributions and partnerships provide vital support for our work around the world. Learn more about how your corporation can play an important role in the WHF's efforts in developing countries and disaster relief efforts. Foundation Support

Grant support from foundations for the WHF's international programs, disaster relief or research programs play a vital role in the WHF's on-going mission. It enables the WHF to continue water purification installations, research, testing, education and the promotion of the WHF mission.  The WHF is grateful for the foundation support it receives and welcomes  foundations to learn more about donating.

Volunteer Support

The WHF welcomes the help from volunteers at its headquarters in Newtown, Connecticut.  Periodically we need volunteers to assist us on disaster relief and planned projects in developing countries.
